Saito made his way down the street towards the book store. He was quite fond of reading and liked to visit the bookstores around.
He stepped inside an antique bookstore with a little bell above the door announcing his arrival before roaming down the many isles of books with a thoughtful look in his dark blue eyes

The girl with lavender locks was in the section where all the books translated into braille were at. Her striking violet eyes sparkled as she brushed the spine of the books on the shelf with her fingers. There were so many! Yukiko was amazed that were quite a few books translated into braille for people like her. Ooh~ I wonder what book I should read first! This is so exciting! She got really excited whenever she was around books, of course, she refused to let anyone see her excitement. Not anyone that she knew... People didn't look at her like a regular person. Of course, she wasn't normal. She was blind and yet she could still kick butt. Yukiko always gave off the impression of a lonely and quiet doll-like girl. She did look like a doll sometimes. She found the title of a book to be quite interesting so she sat on the floor to read the book. She leaned against the bookshelf and opened up the book to get started on her reading.

He continued roaming the isles until he got to the Brielle isle. He was going to skip it seeing as he was not blind and had no use for such books but he paused seeing a young girl perhaps around his age or a year or two younger sitting down reading a book from the very isle.
Despite his stoic and calm exterior his eyes betrayed his fascination as he leaned against the end of the bookshelf and watched her intently from behind the curtain of indigo hair.

A small smile crept upon her face as she read the book by following the writing system with her fingers. Her spirit vision was mostly accurate whenever she wanted to use it, but her power was a little low on juice since she was distracted by the book that just fascinated her. But, her power did pick up something. Someone was there but since she was distracted by the book, she could detect where it was coming from. Yukiko ignored it, although, she felt like someone was watching her. That was just instinct right there. Most people have that feeling where someone is watching them and they are right. It's probably someone walking around... And with that, Yukiko went back to reading the book.

He gave a small smile knowing she could not see him. "You do not see many blind people around here." He commented in a quite murmured but loud enough for her to hear. He continued to lean against the shelf with his hands in his pockets watching her

Yukiko closed the book and turned her head to the sound of the man's voice. It was true that there weren't many blind people around and that was a good thing. No one should have a disability whether it was the loss of vision, hearing or any other disability. It just happened to be a mutation in her DNA. Good thing she had a power useful to her. It helped her get around easier than regular blind people. "That is true. I'm glad... No one should have a disability like not being able to hear or see. May I ask who are you? My name is Yukiko... but I have always preferred Yuki."

He chuckled softly. "That maybe so. But I do believe disabled people are more heroes then people give credit for." He murmured. Debating if he should go over or not. "I'm Saito." He replied "a pleasure Yuki."

She only caught half of what he said since he murmured it. What did he believe in disabled people? Oh, well. Maybe it wasn't anything important if she didn't pay close attention to him. "Nice to meet you, S-Saiiito." Yukiko blushed a little bit when she held out the Sai in Saito's name. She looked back at her book and brushed her fingers over the title of the book again. She looked back at Saito, or tried to look back at him, and smiled at him. "Do you like to read books, too?"

He smiled. "It's pronounced sigh-toe." He corrected. "And yes I do." He replied with a soft chuckle

"Saito..." she repeated his name after he told her the correct punctuation. Yukiko immediately stood up and hugged the book close to her chest. "R-Really!? I like books, too! They are so amazing. They can take you to all kinds of places, and I love the things I learn from them." She blushed as she babbled on about books being so amazing. But, I think kids my age like to text and date... I'm not really into that sort of thing. All I need is my books. "S-Sorry... I guess I get a bit jumpy and excited when I talk about books."

Not at all. I feel the same way about sword fighting." He chuckled. Shaking his head with a small smile. He normally didn't open up and smile so much to others. He was more guarded.

Yukiko tilted her head curiously and blinked at the boy with confusion. "You know how to sword fight?" That made her sound like she knew how to sword fight. She was just curious to be curious... like always. "I'm the student council's club advisor at the Catholic Reverence Academy. Are you a student of the academy?" Of course, she had no idea if he was a full grown man or a teenager like her. She couldn't see him and her powers didn't tell her how old people were. That's right. He could be a full grown man. I should've been more aware of that possibility.

He chuckled. "Yes I do sword fighting. Much like the samurai of the Japanese faction." He commented. Tilting his head watching her amusingly. "And yes I'm a student . I'm a senior at that academy. Joined a few days back. So I'm new you could say."

"The Japanese sword is the katana, right? I wish I could hold one. I heard that they are not that bad in battle." Was it really that bad that students had to learn how to fight with weapons as well as magic? Yukiko didn't have much to lay back on except for her spirit vision. The only use it had was to help her know if someone was sneaking up on her then she could run or do something. She was pretty strong, but she felt like throwing a few punches and power kicking people wouldn't be enough to protect herself from a gun or anything like that. "I'm a junior. So, do you like the academy?"

He hesitated before walking closer. Taking a hold of his sword by his side and unclasped it from his hip and laid it still in its sheath on her lap. "I have been fighting with this since I could hold it. It was a heirloom that used to be my father's" he took her hand and wrapped it around the hilt of the katana before withdrawing his. "I haven't seen much if the academy as of yet but from what I have seen yes I do like it." He replied sitting back
