He shook his head "I know but I mean I'm gonna need help with classes, studying and such and well with my drug issue. I need help with someone throwing em away when ever I grab at some." he said and looked at her "I'd ask Ash but .. she doesn't know I've been living my own in a old barn so ya. I thought you were next best person considering the rest of the people I know are drug doing idiots." he groaned.
He then blinked and stared at her with a raised brow and sighed "I thought I did.. but then we moved and I lost contact with my first true girlfriend.." he muttered.

Oi... What have I gotten myself into? Yukiko didn't even know why she said yes in the first place. She nodded, accepting to help him out with his classes. Every time she accepted to help Rowan, the more she knew she would regret it. I don't understand... Maybe it's because he is Ash's brother. It could be good for him, anyway. She was going to have a long journey ahead of her. Helping Rowan quit drugs and helping him study for classes... It was a bit overwhelming. It was funny to see that Yukiko couldn't figure out why she said yes in the first place. It could be that she's just nice like that. It just confused her because it was a quick turn of events for her. "I'm not perfect but I'll try my best to help you. That's if it could bring you and Ash closer together. And, if that's what you really want..."

He blinked and then sat up with both his knees up "Thanks Yukiko.. I just I'm not ready to go home yet. But you can understand why I want to change right? I'm tired of this way, I'm a natural flirt but I want a true girlfriend back like the one I had when I went to Myth Academy and a academy in a small town. She followed me everywhere but here .. I'm not sure why. But not the matter .. what class hour are we on at the moment?" he asked.

It really bothered her that she was helping Rowan. She was afraid she was interfering with family business that needed to remain family business where the family works out the problem together. Maybe she could give Rowan an extra push down the right path to get him started. It was okay that Rowan didn't want to go home. He was playing his cards right to straighten himself out before facing his siblings again. Yukiko looked away from Rowan and felt a little depressed that she had never had an experience like that before. She was so jealous, even though she acted like love was weird. She heard it was an amazing thing to have with that special someone, but she seriously doubted that she would experience true love. If anything, a guy would date her because he feels sorry for her.
Love is weird... "Um... It's 6th period. 6th period is like a free period for me. We don't really do much work in that class anyway. Most of the time we have free time to do whatever we want. Normally, I would be excused to spend the rest of the period in the library. I love reading books. I think they are amazing. They take you to so many places and teach you so many things. I also love poetry~ It's so beautiful, and it's one of the ways to express your feelings." Her cheeks turned red as she realized she was babbling on about poetry and books. Finally, she blushed! Yukiko didn't talk much unless she was excited about something like books. Then, she would start babbling on about them like she's a genius on books or something like that. "Uh... sorry."

He noticed something different with her emotion. Narrowing his eyes slightly, the male looked at her and blinked "Yukiko you don't have to help me honestly, if you don't want to I can do it myself or confront Ash or Ryuuki if they don't hate me to bad still." he said putting his hand on her shoulder.
Then she turned her attention back to him and so he moved his hand away and grinned as she started to talk about books and poetry like it was her crack. He flicked his bangs out of his face with his pinkie again and then smiled when she blushed "Hey no don't be sorry~ its nice to hear you excited bout something. Infact, school gets out sixth right? Why don't we go to the book store .. get some books that could help me with school and drug issues." he said.

"I-I don't know... I guess it's because this is so different for me." Yukiko sighed and shrugged her shoulders in attempt to get Rowan's hand off her shoulder. I've never had anyone come to me for help. Rowan actually made her feel useful. Yeah, she was school useful to him but that was better than nothing. Oh, gosh... The bookworm could just hide her face behind a book shyly at the moment. Rowan made it sound like a good thing she was into poetry and stuff like that. Other people would find it to be very boring.
"B-Bookstore!?" she exclaimed and realized how close she was to his face. Yukiko pulled away from him and acted like it was no big deal. "Um... yeah. Sure.." Aw, wasn't she just adorable! She glanced around nervously and sighed, pulling her knees up to her chest. "Well, I guess I should go then." she said as she rose up to her feet. "I'll come back for you later. 6th should be over soon. Surely, you can wait here until then? Just don't cause any more trouble while I'm gone."

Rowan had nearly gone falling on his back, his deep blue eyes were wide and he held his breathe as he looked at her. "Holy crap.." he whispered when she pulled away, and then he chuckled and looked at her "Considering you sent all my boys home whining I'm sure ill be fine. Go on now Yukiko Ill be here when you get back." he said.

That would've made her day if she saw his facial expression. "How about you go straight to the bookstore after school? I'll meet you there." Yukiko waved at Rowan and walked out of the abandoned shack. She was actually excited to go to the bookstore with Rowan. She could be surrounded by books and teach Rowan so many things that she learned from books. Of course, they would eventually have to get serious and focus on studies than adventure books or even romantic ones. There was one Yukiko was reading. It was called The Fault in Our Stars. She was a bit embarrassed to be seen with it since it was a romantic book. People didn't look at her as the romantic type of girl which she also tried to convince herself that she's not into romance.
