Problem Children (Rowan)

The student council club advisor, Yukiko Kuroshiki, found herself standing in front of the abandoned shack. The students that skipped class to get high in the shack were really getting on her nerves. The student council president already chased the students out of the shack the other day and yet they still manage to get back in there. Yukiko knew that her fellow club members would probably get upset with her for going alone, but she was tired of people thinking she was some weak blind girl. She could kick butt as long as she focused on her targets carefully by listening for the sounds their spirits made and the color and shape the spirits took form in her mind. Ugh, they are so troublesome to the student council members and the entire school! I will not tolerate it. She reached out and turned the knob, opening the door up and the reeking smell of drugs and alcohol hit her face when she opened the door. It was awful. Smoke escaped out of the door and before Yukiko knew it, she was grabbed by the arm and pulled into the shack.

The male student that grabbed her closed the door behind her. "Geez! Don't just stand there and give us away- Oh, you're the student council club advisor, aren't you?" A grin appeared on his face as he circled the girl. Yukiko narrowed her purple eyes and exclaimed, "Yeah! What it is to you?" The guy chuckled and walked up behind her, leaning forward to where he was breathing on her shoulder. His breath reeked of cigarettes and alcohol. It was truly disgusting! "Rumor has it that you're blind, Miss Club Advisor~ I'm sorry but I'm afraid that we're not going to give up this shack just yet. You student council members are so uptight! You should relax... Join us, Kuroshiki." he whispered and chuckled as he pulled away. Yukiko turned around to face the boy and put her hands on her hips. She was not going to put up with his attitude. The boy scoffed and snapped his fingers as a signal for his posse to circle around the girl. "I think you should leave now. I would hate to hurt that pretty face of yours." Yukiko balled her hands into fists and clenched her teeth in frustration. "You think you're so tough because you have back up. Why don't you fight me yourself, huh? You coward!" That's when things got serious.

A few minutes later.... Yukiko was standing in the middle of the shack, surrounded by weak men that were laying on the floor. She wasn't invincible. Of course, she took a few good hits but she always got back at them for it. The male students groaned in pain and one of them staggered up to his feet. He let out a cry and charged towards Yukiko with a knife in his hand. "Unbelievable. You still haven't learned your place!" Yukiko grabbed the hand with the knife and twisted his arm around to his back, causing him to drop the knife from the force she was using. "Now, what was that again? You know, about me being blind! Pathetic... Kneel, you coward." The boy refused to kneel and so Yukiko twisted his arm back and that's when he immediately dropped down to his knees. "Now, you better stay down." The guy scoffed and laid down when Yukiko let him go. She looked around and noticed another guy stagger to his feet. Yukiko gave the boy a death glare and she started to crack her knuckles. The boy laughed nervously and went back to laying on the ground. He didn't want another butt kicking from her. "I don't ever want to see you guys in here again. Take this somewhere else! Now, get out of my face." The beaten up guys nodded and fled from the shack. Yukiko sighed and her eyes flickered at the sound of another spirit in the room.

"Who is there? Just because I didn't put you down like them doesn't mean you can stay here. I want everyone to leave!"

[Rowan Stormcatcher]

Sitting far back was a male, the leader of the group that had just got their butts kicked. He grinned and flicked his head which made his bangs fly to the side of his head. He rolled his eyes as one came crawling towards him and he grinned. Crouching down he glared at the young male.

"Your own fault. Be glad she didn't use her gun or knife on you damn idiot. I know were all high off the meth but seriously?! You should know about the student council members!" he muttered shaking his head in disappointment. He couldn't believe the idiots he hung around.

Sighing he rolled his eyes as the blind Student Council finally realized he was there. He chuckled "Took you long enough Miss Kuroshiki. Calm yourself, I'm the brother of the clubs president. I don't think she'd want to hear a story about you beating up her dear little brother now would she?" he asked with a grin.

Ugh, why does everyone call me by my last name? They must know it bothers me... Yukiko grew irritated when the male acted all high and mighty because his sister was the student council president. It couldn't have been Ryuuki, right? Ash said that Ryuuki was the nice one, and Rowan was always looking for trouble. "Ah, you must be Rowan. I believe Ash mentioned you once or twice before. But, I still don't think she should even allow you special permission to be in here getting high on drugs just because you're her brother."

Yukiko was a bit disappointed to hear that Ash let her brother get high in the abandoned shack. She looked around to see if anyone else was there with them. It looked like her work there was done. Ash could deal with Rowan later or not... Yukiko didn't know exactly what kind of agreement they had for Rowan to skip class and get high in the shack. "My name is Yukiko.."

[Rowan Stormcatcher]

He laughs and watched as his boys crawled out and then walked over to her. He leaned on the wall his hand above her head as he leaned close to her face to see the female really was blind. He grinned and shrugged. "She knows Ryuuki is the nerd of the two brothers and she thinks I'm still in jail so hush little one." he said and grinned. "Do you have a issue? You know drugs are suppose to help the blind get their vision back." that was a lie and he knew it but whatever.

He grinned and grabbed her hand kissing it as he stared into her blind violet eyes "Charmed, as you already know miss Yukiko I'm Rowan Stormcatcher." he said.

Yukiko backed up into the wall as the boy got closer to her. What kind of game was he playing with her? It was a surprise to see that she wasn't even blushing for the boy when he leaned in close to her face. Most girls would probably blush and think that the handsome boy wanted to kiss them. Only in their dreams. She rolled her eyes and shifted her gaze away from Rowan to the floor of the shack. Maybe you were put in jail for a reason...

"I'm not stupid, you know. Even if that was true, I wouldn't do drugs to get my vision." Yukiko did want her vision back, but she didn't want to get it back by doing drugs if for some reason drugs did help with vision. She slipped her hand out of Rowan's and looked away from him again. She wasn't going to fall for his flirty boy act like most girls would. "So, you're going to just stay in here? Why don't you want to tell Ash that you are out of jail?"

[Rowan Stormcatcher]

"Because no one bailed me out sweet heart. I broke out, I wasn't gonna get out I assaulted a cop for hell's sake." he muttered backing away from her as he leaned on a wall in the shadows. His bangs fell into his eyes and he shook his head "I'm not as bad as most people believe. But my reputation from the past has made me feel I had to continue being that Rowan." he muttered.

"Listen miss Yukiko just because life seems to be easy for you, Ash, and Ryuuki its not for people and Karin not after what we have done. So yes I'm staying in here. I can repeat the eleventh grade again and again and again it doesn't bother me." he muttered shaking his head.

"Whatever. That's something you and your siblings have to figure out together." Yukiko wasn't going to bother sticking her nose somewhere it didn't belong. Then, Rowan started talking about how easy Yukiko had life. What the heck was he thinking when he said that!? Nothing had been easy on her. Her parents didn't even want her. That was probably because she was blind but still.... It wasn't easy for her. "This is obviously a family thing for you guys to sort out but... I don't want to see your boys in here again, okay? I should just kick you out now but Ash is your sister so I'll let her decide on what to do with you." Yukiko sighed and glanced at Rowan before she turned her back to him. "I guess I should go... See you later." She gave him a wave of her hand before she started walking to the door that she could sense because of her power.

[Rowan Stormcatcher]

Grinning the male threw his head up "Oh come on Yukiko stay with me, try some of the drugs. They could help~ Don't leave me all by my lonesome I need some company and I want some company that isn't a complete idiot. Please little club adviser? Maybe you can pull the good out of me if you stay .. believe it or not I was good once." he cooed out.

Yukiko stopped walking toward the door and looked back a little bit at Rowan. There was no way she would try some of the drugs he had with him. Gods, he was probably covered in drugs! Keeping them in his jacket, pockets, etc. His whining was like a little kid begging his mom for something and puckering his lip with wide puppy dog eyes. She turned around and walked back to Rowan, shrugging her shoulders. "Fine, but I'm not going to do drugs." Honestly, she had nothing better to do. Yukiko had to admit that she was curious about Rowan. Maybe it wouldn't be bad to figure out if she could do something to help. I guess I'm just worried about how Ash would react if she came down to the shack one day and found her idiot brother that was supposed to be in jail... I can't believe I'm just letting him go like this. I want to tell her, but maybe it's for a good reason that Rowan wants to keep his escape a secret... Or, it's just a bunch of crap coming from that idiot's mouth.

[Rowan Stormcatcher]

He grinned and rolled his eyes "Oh come on just try once? They take all the stress away" he cooed "Come on princess, do something bad for once in your life that doesn't involve beating the crap out of crack-heads" he said with a grin as he lit up a cigarette. He then looked at her and sighed.

"How is Ash doing .. I know she is really stressed with dad being gone and mom being dead as shes trying with Ryuuki to raise all of us keep us healthy and alive." he muttered.

Yukiko rolled her violet eyes at Rowan and shook her head in response. No! No! No! No matter how lovely Rowan made drugs sound, she wasn't going to try it. She didn't even think of being bad whenever she beat up someone. She just thought of it as putting them in their place which was obviously below everyone else if they made Yukiko mad enough to beat them up. "I don't know... We are more like acquaintances I guess. I rarely talk to the others in the student council. I just take care of the investment activities that raise money for the school and other causes."

[Rowan Stormcatcher]

Groaning, he threw his head back "You sure are stubborn like her." he muttered sighing he brushed his bangs out of his eyes and put his knee up resting his arm on it as he looked straight at her. "H-Hey Yukiko can I be serious with you for a moment?" he questioned.

That caught her attention. Yukiko turned her head and blinked at the boy curiously. Who was this girl he was comparing her to? She was stubborn, though. She had to give him that. It made her shudder slightly at the way Rowan looked at her. But, for once in the time they were together, Rowan wanted to be serious. He must have given up on getting her hooked up on drugs. "Um... Sure." Yukiko was curious to hear what Rowan had to say. It kind of scared her that he went from attempting to convince her into doing drugs to being all serious with her. Of course, she wasn't going to complain. She'd rather have the serious Rowan than the Rowan bothering her over and over again to see if she would just do drugs to get him to shut up.

[Rowan Stormcatcher]

"Yukiko I want to change, I mean I will still be a flirt and all but I want to stop with the drugs .. I want to go back to school be a student again, I want to pass the eleventh grade this year .. but I need help, and you seem to have the strength.. Yukiko will you please help me change?" he asked, there was ... almost begging fear in his voice.

Oh, so it wasn't about the girl he compared her to. It still bothered her that she didn't know who the mystery girl was. Yukiko didn't know exactly what to say. She wasn't very good at being supportive of people. She never really had any friends before. "I guess I could try to help you with that, but you need to do most of the work, okay? If you do most of the work to change yourself, then I'm sure you would find it to be worth it."

This is going to be hard. Drug addicts are really hard to get off drugs. That's why they are drug addicts, but Rowan... He's a Junior and I'm sure that's around the time where the male is the person he would most likely be the rest of his life. Boys are harder to change than girls... It was really giving her headache. She had never talked so much in her entire life! And, she never thought into things as deep as she did with the situation Rowan was in. But, it was worth it if it was going to help Rowan be the person he wanted to be. "Tell me, Rowan. Do you even know what love is?" That was out of the blue, but it had something to do with Rowan's bad boy and flirty act that he was showing off to the girls.
