Saito made his way over to the iron gates before punching in the code and slipping inside. Breathing the fresh air as he finally made it home. He could make out a few dots out in the open field to his right where three of his horses were grazing peacefully. Despite Saito's stoic attitude he really does love animals and having been raised in Japan with no electricity he was used to the older days of life where horses and carts were used for transportation and most times walking for you places.
He trodded up to the nearest fence and gave a low hunted whistle. Moments later a black mare trotted towards him. Affectionately nuzzling his cheek before searching for some hidden treats. He chuckled and rubbed the star on her forehead before hopping the fence. He normally sits to relax in the fields before heading inside to his house after school and such. So he sat with his back to a tree and watched the horses graze.
He blew some indigo hair from his face and scooted down into his back to stare up at the clouds. First day of school. He met a nice blind girl and the school president was it? He wasn't sure if he liked her or not. He gave him mixed vibes. Scoffing silently to himself he closed his eyes and relaxed

"Call Saito Hajime..." the girl said into her phone and lifted her hand up to put the phone to her ear. Her Siberian Husky, Koja, was sitting next to her with his head in her lap. The dog whimpered as he looked up at his owner with those pale blue eyes of his. He had wished that his owner gave him away so she wouldn't have to suffer living out on the streets. Yukiko refused to get rid of Koja. She knew that no one else would treat him better than her. He was her pet and sometimes he was her service dog but most of all, he was her best friend. No dog could ever replace him. She wouldn't even get rid of him if she was in love with a man that hated dogs. She would leave that man and keep Koja close to her. "It's okay, Koja. We're going to be okay. I can find a place for us to live. I just need to work harder." Koja whimpered and nudged her free hand as if he was telling her to pet him.

He was practically asleep by the time his phone rang. He groggily pulled it out of his pocket and answered it without opening his eyes. His voice slightly in a drawl from being half asleep. "Saito Hajime speaking." He answered.

"U-Um.... Hey, Saito. I don't think I'll be able to go to the mall with you this weekend. Yeah, so I'll see you in school..." Yukiko sounded like she was going to hang up, but she was still listening for him to say okay or no problem. Koja barked at his owner, and Yukiko put her finger up to her lips, telling the dog to be quiet. The husky whimpered and laid his head back down on the girl's lap. Yukiko rolled her eyes at Koja and petted him gently with her free hand, petting in the direction the hair was going.

He raised a brow and frowned. "That's unfortunate to hear. Everything alright Yuki?" He asked in his calm voice but there was a hidden edge of worry.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." The husky jumped to his paws and started barking at the girl again. Yukiko covered the phone with her hand and looked at her dog. "Koja! Please, be quiet." Koja whimpered and circled around only to start chasing his tail. The girl rolled her eyes and put her hand off the phone so Saito could hear her. "I'm sorry, Saito. Maybe some other time, okay?"

"I'm fine, okay!? I don't need you or anyone's help just because I'm blind!" Yukiko ended the call with the simple voice command and pulled her knees up to her chest. Koja stopped chasing his tail and sat down, trying to be a good boy so he wouldn't cause her any trouble. He could tell that she was upset about the situation she was in. He whimpered and walked up to her, nudging her hand to where it laid on his head. Yukiko sighed and looked at Koja, stroking his fur gently. "I know... I shouldn't take it out on others. He was just trying to help. No wonder I can't keep friends let alone make any. Saito is the only friend I have... Rowan, I don't know what he is to me. I guess he's my friend, but I think Saito has been more of a friend than Rowan has. Ugh, I blew it with him..."

He sat up with a sigh when she hung up. Dang it. He rubbed his forehead and rose to his feet. He didn't mean it that way. Growling under his breath he headed for the house to take a shower and calm down. He wasnt really mad it was just slightly irritating.

Yukiko stood up and signaled for Koja to follow her. It was best to look for a place to stay that wasn't in the city. The city was dangerous at night, and Yukiko didn't want to risk any chances of Koja jumping in to save her. The two walked for quite a while not sure where the heck they would end up. Yukiko knew that it had to be better than the city. She came across a ranch and continued to keep on walking. Koja barked and dashed off towards a horse that was in the pasture. "K-Koja! Leave that horse alone!" Yukiko went up to the iron gates and tried to swing them open but it wouldn't work. There had to be some kind of code but she didn't notice it. "Koja!" The husky barked at the horse and circled it, bouncing back and forth and wagging his tail excitedly. Koja wanted to play.

The horse, the black one from before whinnied and tossed its head backing away from the excited dog unhappy to have been disturbed. And it made its feelings known quite loudly. Saito who by this time had already finished his shower and dressed came running outside. Wearing a pair of black jeans combat boots and a white tabletop. His indigo hair looking like a dark wet purplish blue hung limply in his face.
"Aye Chizuru calm down!" He hopped the fence easily before heading over to the mare and caught her halter to pul her down and away from the dog. After his had soothed the horse enough he turned to look at the husky with a frown. He didn't see huskies around these parts. "Now what are you doing here mister?" He mused eying the dog. Not yet noticing Yuki at the gates.he knelt down on his knees and held out his hands towards the dog. Running his fingers through his soft fur. "Now who do yeah belong to huh fella?" He asked quietly as he looked for a collar and tag

The brown and white husky barked at Saito and playfully got down in a hunter's crouch. Koja bounced back and forth before he whipped around and ran back to his owner. Yukiko made sure Koja was okay before she looked to see who the man was. Of course, she couldn't see him but she could tell if she knew him or not. Her spirit vision picked up Saito's spirit and the sound he made. Yukiko looked a little disappointed and relieved to know that it was just Saito. Then, he probably wouldn't get mad at Koja for spooking his horse. She was just glad he wasn't on the horse when Koja did that. "Sai... to."

He chuckled at the dogs antics before following the dog towards the gate. Raising a brow at the figure standing there. He crossed his arms watching. "So he belongs to you huh Yukiko?" He asked tilting his head. Blinking to get the water droplets that fell into his eyes from his wet hair out. "What re you doing here then?" He asked calmly.

"Yes.. His name is Koja." Koja barked and wagged his tail happily as Yukiko introduced him to Saito. Yukiko narrowed her eyes at Saito and kept Koja close to her side. Saito made it sound like she wasn't welcomed there. "I was just passing by.." Koja looked up at Yukiko and pawed at her legs. She simply brushed Koja off of her, because she knew that he was understanding what they were talking about. Koja wanted her to make peace with this guy. "I guess we'll get going. Let's go, Koja." It was probably because Koja wanted to stay longer and play with the horse.

He sighed rubbing his forehead. "I'm just surprised why you'd come here after how you sounded on the phone and all." He punched in the code and swung the gates open. Standing with a Han braced on one and looking at her expectedly.
